Welcome to My Page.

Ed MonsonMy name is Ed Monson. After many years in the fields of customer service, financial planning for seniors and broadcasting, my life journey landed me here at Subaru and Mitsubishi in Fresno. It was about that time that I read the book “Code Halos” and everything became clear to me about car sales in the new millennium. The experience – every last part of it – has to be about the customer, you.

I am committed to professionalism.

Buying a car is one of the biggest purchases you will make in your life. Many people are overwhelmed by the experience. Over many decades, car dealers have taken advantage of their customers. I understand why you probably don’t look forward to the process of buying a car. You will get the information you need from me first.

I will listen to what you the want, what you need and what you can afford. You may learn a thing or two about the car business from me that maybe you didn’t know. Through all that, you will deal primarily with me. If you and I can find a car that suits your needs, we will spend some time with paperwork, then more time showing as much as you want to know about your new car. At that point your customer experience will have just begun.

My personal goal is to retire in my 70s after a career at this store where my every day is filled with only repeat customers and referrals. To do that, I will be focused on your needs as long as you want me to be. My customers know it is easier to schedule service, get accessories or pair a new phone to their car by simply contacting me directly. Customer service and your complete satisfaction is not my job; it is my mission.

You will have access to me almost 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.   That is part of the reason I launched this website. Here you will get answer about cars, buying cars, and how to operate the Subarus and Mitsubishis I sell. There are a small number of car salesman who are different. We are changing the way people look at buying a car. It will be done one customer and one sale at a time.

Thank you for reading this and for allowing me to change your perception about car buying.

Sincerely,

Ed Monson

Summit is an award given by Subaru recognizing two areas of performance: Sales volume and customer satisfaction.  A salesperson must be at the top (or the summit) in both areas among their peers in the region.  It is difficult to maintain a high level of both sales and customer satisfaction.  I love every one of my customer and they love me back.  When asked by Subaru months after the sale, they report that they would buy from me again and recommend me to their friends and family at the rate of 100%.  Thank you so much to my family of nearly 2,000 customers!

Janice is my beautiful wife.  This is a pic from one of our trips to Monterey, CA.  We were about to step in to that restaurant door and have dinner!  Janice inspires me to be better than I was yesterday and to keep growing, learning and improving.  She is a devout English Bull Terrier enthusiast.  We have had many Bull Terriers.  When I met Janice she had three!  We enjoy travelling and taking road trips in our Subaru Legacy 2.5i Limited.
