Hello.  It’s November of 2017 and many people are struggling to change the clock on their 2018 Subaru Outbacks, Legacies, Crosstreks and 2017 and ’18 Subaru Imprezas.  Here where I am in Fresno, California, we still celebrate “Daylight Saving Time”.

It’s now time to set those clocks back. Many people have simply ignored the clock settings on these newer Subaru models because setting the clock or changing the time on newer Subaru’s involves a two-step process in two different areas of the dashboard.

Once you get the hang of it, setting the clock on your new Subaru will be easy.  Watching this video, you might pick up a few pointers about other parts of the steering wheel and multi-information display that will help you get even more enjoyment out of your 2018 or 2017 Subaru.

Hopefully this video isn’t too long.  It’s meant to be simple and informative at a time when many people will be frustrated trying to change the time on the Subaru cars they love so much.  Thanks for checking out EdsCarPage and I hope to get back to blogging again after a long pause to help you and others get more for their money and correct on the dashboard of their cars.

Any Subaru model with Apple Car Play or Android Auto will have this type of clock setting procedure.  If your car has Navigation native to the audio system (TomTom Navigation) you will see a “maps” button on the front.  The Tom Tom Navigation is supposed to automatically set your clock for you and obviously, adjust for daylight saving time.  Models with these systems – as of November 2017 – include the 2017 Impreza, 2018 Impreza, 2018 Crosstrek, 2018 Legacy.
